El Código Penal se prepara para reforzar los castigos al abuso de mercado

Tras superar el último escollo en el Senado, el Código Penal se prepara para reforzar sus castigos al abuso de mercado, unas conductas poco frecuentes que serán revisadas para adaptarse a las nuevas características del sistema financiero.

La redacción establece un marco normativo más amplio contra operaciones y comunicaciones ilícitas de información privilegiada, y manipulación de mercado, bajo condiciones más duras tanto a nivel de pena, cuyo límite máximo se amplía a seis años de prisión y cinco de inhabilitación, como de prescripción, que pasa de cinco a diez años. (Continúe leyendo haciendo clic aquí)
